Dry Roofing
Dry roofing is a system that helps to make a roof more secure while looking aesthetically pleasing and creating a pleasant finish to a roofing project. Dry verge roofing is used where tiles of a roof finish on a gable end of a pitched roof. The dry verge is used to lap across the top of the roof tile and runs down the side of the tile, until it hits the point where it is secured on to a timber or plastic fascia board. As the tiles at the edge are more exposed and are more susceptible to being blown off in high winds, the dry verge creates an extra line of protection down the length of the roof’s pitch.
