Felt & Membrane

Felt & membrane are an integral part of the roofing process and getting the right product for your roofing project is critical. Breathable roof membranes are essential when creating a pitched roof as they work to stop condensation building up on the inside, while still allowing moisture to leave the roof space. Trapped moisture will lead to rot, damp and mould. As well as letting moisture out, they seal the roof, making it watertight for incoming rainwater. Roofing felt is another layer of permeable protection that helps to control the flow of warm moist air, taking it out of the roof space, while stopping water and dampness penetrating the roof from the outside in.
