Who are Dansand?

Dansand is one of Denmark’s leading specialist producers of sand products. The sand that the company uses in their products is from Jutland, and that subsoil is over 20 million years old. 

Dansand uses a special type of sand called Silica sand in their products, and over 500,000 tonnes of it is extracted by them from the Jutland region a year. Dansand products are used for construction, industry, sports facilities and stadiums, children’s playgrounds, and even the DIY and environmental sector.

The sand-based products are exported across Europe and Scandanavia, to countries such as Germany, Austria, Norway, Sweden, England, and the Netherlands. 

Which Dansand products do we sell?

Currently, we sell products from Dansand’s No Grow Block Paving range.

The No Grow Block Paving sand is an innovatively designed paving sand designed for domestic or commercial use, you can use it for patios, paths, and driveways. 

Due to the use of special minerals and silica sand, not only is the paving sand long-lasting, but the minerals also stop intrusive weed growth because they give the sand naturally high levels of pH. 

As we sell a range of colours, you can use the sand with flagstones, cobbles, Indian sandstone, paving blocks, stone setts, slabs, and pavements.
